Capital Area Girls on the Run 5K 5.18.13
Harrisburg, PA (March 20, 2013) – The Capital Area Girls on the Run will host its 2nd annual 5K on Saturday, May 18th on the Milton Hershey School Campus.
More than 350 girls, representing 22 schools in eight school districts, are participating in the spring 2013 season. They will participate in their first 5K on May 18th at the Milton Hershey School campus.
All proceeds will benefit the Capital Area Girls on the Run program.
This family friendly event is open to the public. Walkers and strollers welcome. (Sorry, no pets.)
Date: Saturday, May 18, 2013
Time: 8 a.m. registration; 10 a.m. start
Place: Milton Hershey Campus, off Route 322, Hershey
Cost: $20 on or before April 15th/$25 after April 15th. Register by April 30th to be guaranteed a t-shirt

The safe, paved course starts and ends near Henry Hershey Field, touring the beautiful Milton Hershey School campus with a water stop along the way. Chip timed by PA Runners. We hope you will join our girls as we celebrate the end of the Spring 2013 GOTR season!

Girls on the Run® is a non-profit organization that inspires 8 to 13 year old girls to be joyful, healthy and confident. We teach essential life skills through dynamic lessons and running games.
