Transforming Health internship
witf seeks an organized, confident, and reliable communications/journalism student who is interested in building their résumé with a unique opportunity to work with public broadcasting professionals on Transforming Health: a broad-based, multimedia project, with the goal of presenting the policy and personal health choices we face in today’s health system.
As an intern, you will assist the Transforming Health producers in researching health-related topics, planning community events, writing content for web, and helping to strengthen the Transforming Health brand by raising awareness in the community about the goals of the initiative. This position may also include representing Transforming Health and witf off-site at health-related events within the community.
Strong writing, communication, and research skills are a must for this position. Interest in health-related topics such as healthcare reform, health policy, health statistics, disease prevention, and overall wellness is desired.
