Program Unlocks Healing for Cancer Patients
Meet two midstate Women who formed an incredible bond thanks to The American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery Program. The program makes special connections for patients battling cancer. Christine Eyman lives in Harrisburg and was diagnosed in December 2013 with Ovarian cancer. Through Road to Recovery, Christine met volunteer driver Mary Sipe. A York native, she provides patients undergoing treatment transportation to and from their appointments. “I don’t consider [Christine] just a rider, I consider her a friend” says Mary.
