Terry Mishler lost his daughter to an opioid overdose on October 29, 2015.

He decided to share that his daughter died of an overdose in her obituary. He says addiction is a disease and it should be treated that way.

He’s hoping that by being honest about his daughter’s addiction he can help to battle stigma and encourage others to share their stories as well.
