Everybody starts somewhere
Stephanie Hostetler; Harrisburg, PA
It took one of Stephanie’s girlfriends 3 months to get her to her first Zumba event. Although it was tough for her at first, she stuck with it and found success.
Watch her success story:
How she reached her fitness goal:
She says that at first she took a lot of breaks, and it was hard work. It took her about a week just to recover from one class. But, then she told herself, “This weight isn’t coming off quick enough.”

So, she bumped it up from one Zumba class a week to two. Then, two became three. And, the weight came off.
“65 pounds later, I still can’t dance. But, it’s 65 pounds later!”
Her advice for others:
She says, “It’s about getting active and moving for that 60 minutes a day. I’m focused on me, I’m not worried about what others think.”
She emphasizes the fact that nobody’s judging you, so if you like music and like to dance, give it a try!
“We’re all there for the same reason. Everybody starts somewhere and it’s OK. You started. Just do it.”
